How old do I have to be to rent a car from Dollar?

The renter must be at least 21 years of age to rent most vehicles. In Canada, and internationally, there are age restrictions on select specialty vehicles where driver must be 25 years of age to rent Premium, Luxury, Convertible, Minivans, SUVs and Trucks. Renters under the age of 25 will be subject to an Underage Driver Fee which is a daily surcharge  that varies by location. Dollar Car Rental will rent to U.S. and Canadian government renters in Canada and the USA under the age of 21 who are on official business. Outside the U.S. and Canada, Dollar Car Rental operators may impose a maximum rental age that varies by country.
